Matthew Salisbury

Matthew is a writer and editor with public as well as private sector experience, and has specialised in presenting complex ideas and information in clear, easily read, jargon-free language. He is member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders.

He took a degree in Theology at St John's College, Oxford before travelling and working as a freelance journalist. He spent 20 years at the BBC, mostly with the World Service, and then at the corporate centre where he became head of international relations. Matthew was broadcasting consultant to the European Commission's office in London for a further 10 years, combining this with freelance writing and editing. In 2004 he went freelance full-time and he and Peter Ward formed their current partnership.

Peter Ward

Peter is a copywriter and contracted author. He studied Politics & Philosophy at Bristol University before graduating in English from Leeds University. He has extensive private sector experience both in industry and business communications consultancy, having worked for 20 years in leading property services multinationals and both UK-based and international public relations consultancies. Companies worked for included: Serco Group plc, Amey plc, General Advertising Company and Edelman Public Relations Worldwide.
